Inventory Help Desk Lead

ABOUT THIS POSITION

 

Responsible for leading the Inventory Coordinators and managing the workload and tasks of the Inventory Help Desk.  Interacts with Inventory Coordinators, Store personnel via the Inventory Help Desk, Re-buyers, Buyers, Accounting, DC inbound and outbound, and Orscheln Farm and Home suppliers.  Reports to the Inventory Planning Manager.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

  • Leads the Inventory Coordinators and Operations of the Inventory Help Desk including managing workload (distribution of emails, daily direct purchase orders, transfer as needed, etc) and employee evaluations and scheduling.
  • Preparing and monitoring Overdue Purchase Orders along with distributing to Inventory Coordinators.
  • Prepare and research reports surrounding the Help Desk operations.
  • Assisting Re-Buyers with tasks as requested through the additional task file.
  • Maintain/Cleanup/Archive Customer Service Database in Microsoft Access.
  • Monitor POG Requests from Stores – send reminders to group that action is needed.
  • Ensuring Re-writes for stores and the DC are handled timely.
  • Assist with tasks assigned by the Manager in relation to the Help Desk by Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
