Engineering Administrator

(Part Time 15-20 hrs/wk)

This position requires the individual to have office environment skill-sets that enable them to support, organize and communicate effectively within the Engineering Department as well as with all other Departments.


Preferred Education:

High school diploma required. Preference will be given to those who have business/office administrative college courses.  Other consideration would be previous office administrative experience.


Preferred Work Experience:

Preference will be given to those individuals possessing a minimum of one (1) year experience within an office environment with ability to work within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Applicable work experience will also be considered.



  • Maintain Engineering Status Updates in Job Logs and publish to all pertinent Departments.
  • Maintain and organize records associated with documented Product Release and Product Engineering Job assignments (electronic logs-files & completed hard files).
  • Maintain the functionality of the Department Copier/Scanner/Printers and supplies for each.
  • Maintain the Engineering areas of JSR.
  • Maintain all electronically scanned and hard files associated with completed ECN’s.
  • Create Engineering Departmental documents as required by entering data, completing reports, publishing and filing.
  • Maintain and organize all data flowing through the department.  Collect data from engineers and compile reports summarizing data with totals and average of all relevant information, which is then distributed as reports for management to review.
  • Maintain Records Retention material for Engineering Dept.
  • Establish and maintain logs for tracking agreed upon items in the engineering department.
  • Perform general administrative duties of a non-routine nature and above average difficulty, which may also support other Departments.
  • Maintain Office Supplies for Engineering Dept.
  • Support any other assignments requested.
  • Must have extensive knowledge and abilities to work within Windows Office: Word, Excel, Access and Power Point and able to create documents within each.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
